Hi! I'm Siobhán
My name is Siobhán Aideen Kaufman. I am a self-taught oil paint artist from the Netherlands with a background in video game concept art. During my studies, I discovered my passion for oil paint, and after some practice, I decided to compete in a painting contest on Dutch television. I placed second and was named the best portrait painter of that season! This allowed me to start teaching oil paint portrait workshops at a high school, which I have been doing for over three years now.
My personal art style has changed drastically over the past years. It all began with regular portrait paintings, but I wanted my art to be more personal. I took the knowledge gained as a concept artist, mixed it with my love for horror, and brought my vision to life by applying oil painting techniques similar to the Old Masters. I've been sharing my creepy, scary, and weird art with the world and am thrilled to have found like-minded artists like you!
